December 13th 3-5:30p

This class is a comprehensive childbirth education course designed for expectant parents with busy schedules - get a full childbirth prep course in just one weekend.

Course Structure: The course consists of three classes, held over a weekend. It covers essential topics related to childbirth, from early labor to pushing, with a focus on building confidence and providing critical information in a shorter time frame. We balance the time with Katie sharing information, activities and discussion. So, you don’t have to worry about getting bored. This is a workshop, not lecture.

Content: The class is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate labor and birth. We will start by understanding the how labor progresses - early labor, active labor, pushing and delivery of the placenta. For each important phase redevelop a plan with tools to best manage in a way that works with your body for a focus on a healthy mother and baby - both physically and emotionally. We will provide the tools to communicate with your medical team to better understand common interventions. The class is designed to be an enjoyable time to connect with your support person and prepare for this important day together.

Target Audience: This course is for families preparing for a vaginal birth. We will adapt the class to fit those seeking a low intervention birth as well as those wanting to use pharmaceutical pain relief. Katie adapts the class to the participants needs. Trial of labor after cesarean, planned home birth and folks who really have no idea what they want are all welcome.

This course offers a practical, time-efficient way for expectant parents to feel prepared and confident as they approach their birth day.

Who Attends: We encourage the pregnant woman and her primary support person to attend. If you have tow support people or a doula, please contact us.

Cost: $325. Includes 3 small group, personalized class sessions, binder packed with resources, worksheets and more.

We accept HSA and FSA. No Payment needed to register, make payments on your own schedule online. Must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to start of class. We do not want budget restraints from ever preventing a family from preparing for a joyous birth. If payment is a hardship for your family, please contact us to discuss how we can work together.
