Who teaches the class?
The class is taught by me, Bianca Wooden. I am a mother of 3 children (hospital birth, home birth and cesarean birth). My husband, kids and I live in Ocean Springs with our dog, Cash. I have been teaching and supporting families through pregnancy birth and breastfeeding since 2011. I am a board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) in private practice. La Leche League played an important part in shaping who I am as a mother and I am a La Leche League Leader. Yes, I think physiologic birth that happens without complication or the need for medications is wonderful. It's best physically and emotionally for both mom and baby. But, that's not why I teach childbirth classes. I teach so that you have access to accurate information and someone by your side as YOU make the best decisions for YOU. My decisions are not your decisions. Every birth is unique and I am here to help you.
